Company Overview

Formerly known as PT Central Korporindo Internasional Tbk. On 13 September 1999 the Company was established under the name of PT Central Korporindo Internasional as a general trading company. The Company became a publicly listed company on the Jakarta Stock Exchange (now the Indonesia Stock Exchange) with the ticker symbol “CNKO” since 21 November 2001.

 

In 2006, the Company signed long-term and mid-term Coal Sales Agreements (PJBB) with PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN). In addition to PLN, the Company is currently also one of the coal suppliers for PT Indonesia Power (IP).

 

In 2010, the Company changed its name into PT Exploitasi Energi Indonesia Tbk. Following the Second Rights Issue in 2012, the Company transformed into an integrated coal- based energy company, with businesses covering coal trading, coal-fired power plant and port services. In 2019, the ownership of one of the Company’s subsidiaries, PT Dwi Guna Laksana Tbk. (IDX: DWGL) was taken over by Hawthorn-Capital Investment Pte.Ltd.

 

In the midst of the challenging COVID-19 pandemic condition, CNKO remained focused on its main business, namely the fulfillment of coal supply to its clients, while always strives for efficiency in all business lines in order to maintain its performance.
