Company Overview
The Company became a public company listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange (currently the Indonesian Stock Exchange) since 21 November 2001 with the stock code “CNKO”. When it was founded on 13 September 1999, the Company had the name PT Central Korporindo International with a general trading business sector.
CNKO has signed a Coal Sale and Purchase Agreement (PJBB) contract with PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) since 2006 and also had a contract with PT Indonesia Power (IP). Currently, the Company is a coal supplier with long-term contracts for seven PLN-owned Coal-Fired Power Plants (PLTUs) in Java.
The Company changed its name to PT Exploitasi Energi Indonesia Tbk. in 2010. In 2012, CNKO took a corporate action with the Second Rights Issues and transformed into an integrated coal-based energy company, which it until now covers the business fields of coal sales and Coal-Fired Power Plants (PLTU).
