Founded on 13 September 1999 under the name PT Central Korporindo Internasional.


Started commercial activities in coal mining and trading business.

Listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange (now Indonesian Stock Exchange) on 21 November with the ticker symbol ‘CNKO’.


Completed the process of Rights Issue I with total value of IDR 322 billion.

Changed the business activities from coal trading and processing into coalfired power plant.


Signed a long-term and mid-term contract with PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) to be one of the coal suppliers.


Changed its name to PT Exploitasi Energi Indonesia Tbk. through the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS).

Obtained a license for Production Operation Mining (IUPOP) in South Kalimantan.


Company-owned power plants in Pangkalan Bun with production capacity of 2×7 MW started operations.


Started its own coal production from one of its subsidiaries coal mine.
Completed IDR 2.3 trillion Rights Issue II in January.


Recorded the highest coal sales throughout the Company’s history for two consecutive years, at 1.7 million tons in 2015 and 4.1 million tons in 2016 respectively.


The Company’s subsidiary – PT Dwi Guna Laksana Tbk. listed its shares on the Indonesian Stock Exchange on 13 December with the ticker symbol ‘DWGL’.


Signed a spot contract as a coal supplier at PT PLN Batubara.

Started a cooperation with Bureau Coal as coal supplier.


Divested the ownership of shares in subsidiary PT Dwi Guna Laksana Tbk. to Hawthorn-Capital Investment Pte. Ltd.


Putting in measures to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic, in the efforts to ensure the continuity of business operations.


Receieved a certificate of appreciation from PLN for the performance and contribution in the fulfillment of coal supply for electricity.
