Sustainability Performance

CNKO continues to strengthen its sustainability performance by integrating economic, social and environmental considerations into its business activities. These efforts are supported by operational efficiency, environmental monitoring, occupational health and safety practices, stakeholder engagement and responsible corporate governance.

The Company’s highlights of sustainability performance include:

  • Economic Performance:

    • Operating revenues increased by 7.6% from Rp1,731.5 billion in 2024 to Rp1,863.6 billion in 2025.
    • Comprehensive income attributable to owners of the parent entity increased by 173.7% from Rp71.1 billion to Rp194.6 billion, while coal sales volume reached approximately 2.174 million tons.

  • Environmental Performance:

    • Environmental management includes routine monitoring of air and water quality, wastewater treatment, waste management and biodiversity around the Pangkalan Bun PLTU.
    • Ambient air quality parameters monitored during 2025 remained below the applicable quality standards, supported by periodic testing and maintenance of environmental control facilities.

  • Social Performance:

    • Implementation of equal employment opportunity and fair employment practices.
    • Application of occupational health and safety procedures and employee competency development.
    • Support for local employment, community engagement and social programs around operational areas.
